Yum! Lexi and Alex couldn’t turn down an invitation from their friend to crisscross Kentucky in a “taste testing competition!” What fun it was to attend several state fairs as well as meet up with all sort of animals along the way. Alex especially enjoyed going through the “horse country” around Lexington. Lexi loved their overnight ride down the Ohio River on an old paddlewheel boat. An amazing trip to Ft. Knox reminded everyone that our true riches are in heaven. They left with a new appreciation of Abraham Lincoln, Jefferson Davis, Mammoth Cave and many other historical treasures that are so common in Kentucky.
