This newest VBS takes a look at the sights and cultural influences of busy New York City while diving more deeply into these topics:
* freedom in Christ to do what is right
* Jesus as the ONLY way to salvation
* Christian growth and finding peace in the chaos of life
* being prepared to fight the enemy of our souls
* building relationships so we can share the Gospel
Colorful PowerPoint slideshows filled with song lyrics, lesson illustrations, and beautiful photos of New York City help you keep the attention of the children while object lessons and skits continue to emphasize each daily theme. The continued story introduces the children to hymn writer Fanny Crosby who attended the New York Institute for the Blind.
Each kit includes a copy of the By the Way book about New York City, a squirrel puppet, music tracks, printable promotional materials, and so much more. We've taken some things we learned from the "Treasure Hunt" VBS and endeavored to make "Ticket to New York" even better!
